Linda Wegner launched Words of Worth in 2000 when her husband's health broke and she found it necessary to become the family wage-earner. Already an experienced writer and public speaker, she turned these talents into a successful business. She is an accomplished workshop presenter and seminar leader who combines wisdom with humor and reflections from her deep life experience to capture audiences and deliver messages that resonate with participants long afterward.
She has led workshops and been a workshop consultant for business and industry, including the Agricultural Institute of Management in Saskatchewan. She also is a guest presenter at Career Link, Powell River’s Job Source, is an active member of Toast to the Coast Toastmasters, and has just completed her term as an Area Governor in Coastal British Columbia. Recently, Wegner was named part-time Constituent Assistant to Federal Member of Parliament John Weston in Powell River, BC. (http://www.johnweston.ca/).
She has addressed business, political and community groups on topics ranging from dealing with stress and learning to discover your value, to measuring success and improving writing skills. She was a guest speaker at the Women’s Institute National Convention on Vancouver Island in June 2012.
Wegner is the author of six books and more than 1,500 articles published in newspapers and magazines across North America on business, agriculture, life and faith.
